In 2024, we are celebrating the 27th anniversary of the Cashiers Designer Showhouse in the heart of town!

THE IMPACT OF YOUR GIFT

Over the last two decades, the Cashiers Designer Showhouse has become a beloved tradition that brings thousands of people to Cashiers during the last week of August. Funds raised support the Cashiers Historical Society’s mission to preserve the history and culture of the Cashiers Valley through education, stewardship, and advocacy.

Our benefactors make our mission possible, allowing us to continue documenting and sharing the stories and traditions that make this community special. In 2023, we welcomed thousands of people to our campus, home to some of the oldest structures in Jackson County, North Carolina. Thousands of people attended our educational events, including every third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grader in the local schools. Cashiers Historical Society programs are designed to strengthen our community by reminding people that we’re united in our shared history of Cashiers. Benefactors like you allow us to continue that work.

This year’s Showhouse is located in the heart of town on ample acres and exemplifies the beauty of mountain living.
